Challenge
The operator blended a 200 bbl Poly Plug pill with 20 ppb 20/40 frac sand and
spotted and squeezed the pill into a ballooning formation with some loss’s
occurring. The Poly Plug pill was spotted and squeezed with 120 psi of pressure
noted and held for 8 hours. Operations continued with no further loss’s.
Results
No further loss’s occured and no ballooning of the formation was
noted.
