Challenge
Pumped a 40 bbl Poly Plug pill and squeezed the shoe from 70′ above the
casing shoe, leaving 10′ of Poly Plug inside the casing. After waiting (8)
hours a successful test was achieved.
Results
The successful use of Poly Plug to squeeze the casing shoe
verses a cement squeeze saved costly rig time WOC and pumping
charges.
